BIOGRAPHY

Born Oct. 18th 1980, native to Seattle, WA. Anamosity started writing music at the age of 16, shortly after the murder of his favorite rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996. Two years later, due to growing up in gang life, Anamosity would end up encarcerated at McNeil Island Correctional Center outside Tacoma, WA for a 15 month prison sentence. Upon his release, Anamosity linked up with childhood friend Brian ($krilla) Hamre and met local legend Alan (Sarkastik) Wright who helped start Twomp-O-Six Records. Anamosity would go on to become Sarkastik's hype man under Street Level Records & Wiseworks Management, while never releasing any official projects with the label.
It wasn't until meeting Anthony (Flatline aka Tony Mafia) Lauderdale in Westpark's section 8 housing in 2004, that his first group project was released with $krilla & Puget Sound Underground Records, Rhyme or Kryme - "Dark Street EP". In 2007 Anamosity attended Shoreline Community College for audio engineering, but due to having twin sons shortly after was forced to drop out after the first 2 quarters. While working at a furniture building warehouse to support the recent additions to his family, Anamosity met 2 of the members to his second group "The Crew", which consisted of 6 members. They would go on to record a mixtape called "U Know Who It Iz...Vol. 1" which gained a huge buzz in the uk and gained attention from DJ Smallz & Manager Frank Nitti. Not to mention reached the #1 spot for several weeks on the at the time famous site for ringtones, "Urbmob.com".
Shortly after the group disbanded, the two main members Anamosity & Apocalyptic Started a new group called Prolificc and in 2009 dropped their "Death Before Dishonor Mixtape". During this time they both became affiliated with the artist management company known as GNJ Management. Due to their differences about the business, they decided to pursue their own solo music careers. In 2010 Anamosity would officially start his own record label called "Heavy Grind Entertainment" and clothing line "Heavy Grind Apparel". That same year Anamosity would release his first solo project "Luv Me or Hate Me Mixtape". During the peak of 2010, he produced, managed, and promoted for close to a dozen local artists.
The next few years Anamosity kind of took a break from the mainstream music scene, releasing a gospel rap album titled "Big Dreams", for his family and kids. After moving to Michigan State then back to the Pacific Northwest in 2014, Anamosity spent the next couple years developing his graphic design and beat production skills. It wasn't until the end of 2016, that Anamosity decided to release his second solo project "Broken Dreams". Over the next year and a half would determine just how much of a Heavy Grind Anamosity really has. Releasing 5 more solo projects: "Time Is Money", "Grind Season", "The Plug", "Cold Blooded", and "My Life", as well as well as producing a  compilation CD with over 40 local artists from Wa State.
Anamosity has collaberated with platinum producers Wyshmaster, Legion Beats, Anno Domini, Track Pros & DJ Pain 1.  As well Anamosity has songs featuring Nate Dogg, Xzibit, Twista, Krayzie Bone, Kurupt, C-Bo, Ras Kass, Kxng Crooked (Formerly Crooked I), Young Buck, The Game, Yukmouth, Swifty McVay of D12, Jarren Benton, Stevie Stone, Krizz Kaliko, Glasses Malone, Bad Azz & Darrein Safron. In 2021 Anamosity released his Debut First official solo studio album titled "The Pandemic" which is retail ready. Anamosity speacializes as a ceo/rapper/graphic designer/song writer/beat producer/audio engineer. As well as his own artwork, lyrics, and production, he has produced albums for: Irv Tha Boss - "10 Straight Part 2", Tony Mafia - "Blood From A Boss", and last but not least J. Vorheese - "Tha Both of Me Mixtape", as well produced a remake of Krs-One's hit single "Sound of Da Police" for local rap sensation Stackwell, with collaberation from Seattle's own DJ Rocafella. Anamosity has also designed covers for over dozens of local and not so local artists, including the cover for the single "U Ain't OG" by Stackwell Ft. Ampichino. Anamosity has recently gained a buzz with over 1,500,000 organic spotify streams and growing!
Due to the nature of where the rap industry is evolving, the artistic nature of storytelling or just having a good message is being pushed further from society and reality. So without further adieu Anamosity's sole purpose is to rekindle the flame in the rap industry that is dying out and make great, real music for real and great people!!
